The Korsteel Mullen Mouth Eggbutt bit is an excellent choice for horses who are soft in the mouth and prefer a quiet bit. The eggbutt cheek keeps the bit steady in the horse's mouth while providing a very small amount of pressure at corners of the mouth to aid in turning. The mullen mouthpiece applies pressure mainly to the tongue and lips with a small amouth of contact on the bars of the mouth. This is a good mouthpiece for horses who like a constant pressure and contact or who are bothered by excessive movement of the bit.
