Team Equine

The Christian-based Team Equine Saddle Pads company is a family-owned business that specializes in the manufacturing of custom-built saddle pads along with saddle pad liners, cinches and protective horse boots. Founded in 1999 by Elisabeth “Lis” OeDell and her husband, Steve OeDell, the company grew from the couple’s love of horses.

After spending a lifetime of riding at different levels, Lis determined it was time to move beyond the “One size fits all” mentality for saddle pads. Instead, she was determined to offer custom-built saddle pads in order to provide the best comfort and performance possible while meeting the individual needs of horses. Her goal was to create saddle pads to suit any horse, whether old or young or with an odd back. In essence, she wanted a pad that would either compliment or compensate for correct or ill-fitting saddles.

With a “Customer First” mentality, Team Equine Saddle Pads brings over 50 years of horsemanship experience to the equine industry. Throughout these same years, the company has continued to be Proudly Made in the U.S.A., with all manufacturing and production completed in Molalla, Oregon.
