Unlike regular jointed snaffle's nearly straight mouthpiece sections, JP bits have a unique curved shaped that eliminates the interference that conventional bits can cause. All JP bit feature curved bars that prevent the bit from hitting the roof of the horse's mouth and eliminate the nutcracker-like action that can pinch the horse's tongue. Thick, kind, double-jointed mouthpiece with curved bars eliminates "nutcracker" tongue pinching and encourages horse's chewing motion.
